The Arrival of Bumblebee

Bumblebee zoomed through the shiny, glowing city of Cybertron. His bright yellow color made him stand out from the other robots, who were mostly silver and blue. Bumblebee wasn’t the biggest or the strongest, but he was the fastest! Today, his job was to find his friends, the Autobots, and let them know if there was any trouble with their enemies, the Decepticons.

Suddenly, Bumblebee’s radio beeped. It was Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots. “Bumblebee,” he said, “Decepticon warships are heading towards a planet called Earth!” Bumblebee knew Earth—it was a small, blue planet far away in space. But why would the Decepticons be going there?

Before Bumblebee could ask, there was a loud BOOM! He turned around and saw smoke rising from the Autobot base. Decepticons were attacking! Bumblebee quickly raced back. When he got there, he saw his friends hurt, and the base in ruins. Optimus Prime stood strong, even though the battle raged around him.

“Bumblebee!” Optimus called out, “You need to leave now! Go warn the others on Earth. We’ll try to stop the Decepticons here.”

Bumblebee didn’t want to leave his friends behind. He wanted to stay and fight, but he knew he had to follow Optimus’s orders. So, with a flash, Bumblebee transformed into a fast yellow car and sped away.

It wasn’t easy to escape. Decepticon ships were chasing him, firing lasers. Bumblebee swerved left and right, dodging blasts, until he zoomed past a giant warship. Just when he thought he might not make it, a bright light surrounded him. He felt strange, like he was being pulled through space.

Then, everything went dark.

When Bumblebee woke up, he felt strange. The air smelled funny, like dirt and plants. He tried to transform back into a robot, but his body hurt—he was damaged! Slowly, he peeked out and realized he wasn’t on Cybertron anymore. Tall, green things he had never seen before were all around him. There were small creatures making funny noises nearby. He was on Earth.

Bumblebee felt worried. He didn’t know where his Autobot friends were, or if the Decepticons were nearby. But one thing was clear: he had to find the Autobots and maybe, just maybe, he could get used to this strange new planet called Earth.
