The wizards, all wearing their house colors, lined up at the starting line with their broomsticks. Emily, Alex, and their friends were so pumped up and ready to race. Professor Meriwether, looking a bit mischievous, explained the rules and started the magical competition.

Zoom! The broomsticks flew into the air, and the wizards did awesome tricks and twists. They had to fly through hoops that were floating in tricky places. Everyone was laughing and cheering as they raced to be the fastest flier at Wonderschool.

During the race, there were surprises and funny things happening. Whimsy, the playful imp, joined in and made the broomsticks leave colorful streaks in the sky. Confetti burst out as they raced by! The wizards even went through a magical tunnel that took them to floating platforms where they had to do cool moves in the air.

In the final part of the race, they flew over the Wonderschool lake, and the water sparkled with lights from their broomsticks. The finish line was on the other side, and the wizards raced to get there.

When they landed, everyone clapped and cheered. The Flying Broomstick Race was not just about being fast; it was also about having fun and being friends. Even though they were competing, the wizards gave each other high-fives and big smiles.

Professor Meriwether thought the wizards did an awesome job, so he gave medals to the fastest ones and praised everyone for being creative. The Flying Broomstick Race became a special thing at Wonderschool, showing how talented and friendly the students were.

The wizards, catching their breath and feeling super happy, looked back at the race with a sense of pride. The Flying Broomstick Race was now a part of their magical adventure, giving them memories of flying high and having fun together.
