π The Wonderful Things You Will Be π
Once upon a time, in a cozy little town full of laughter and lemonade stands, there lived a curious child named Emma. She had big, bright eyes and always asked big, bright questions like, βCan a balloon carry me to the stars?β or βDo carrots have feelings?β
Emma loved dressing up as different things every day. On Monday, she was a doctor with a teddy bear hospital. On Tuesday, she became a chef who made mud pies and flower soup. On Wednesday, she turned into a teacher, lining up her stuffed animals for story time.
One day, Emmaβs mom sat beside her on the porch swing and asked, βWhat do you want to be when you grow up?β
Emma twirled her curls and said, βHmmβ¦ I want to be kind. And I want to make people smile. Maybe Iβll be a clown! Or a nurse who sings! Or a baker who gives free cookies!β
Her mom smiled and hugged her close. βThose are all wonderful things. But do you know what I see when I look at you?β
Emmaβs eyes sparkled. βWhat?β
βI see someone brave. Someone who will try new things even if theyβre a little scary. I see someone caring, who will help friends and animals too. And I see someone curious, who will never stop asking questions.β
Emma grinned. βEven carrot questions?β
βEspecially those!β her mom laughed.
As the sun dipped low and painted the sky with orange and pink, Emma looked up and whispered, βMaybe Iβll be all of those things. A brave explorer, a kind helper, a super singer, andβ¦ a carrot scientist!β
Her mom chuckled and kissed her forehead. βThe wonderful thing isβ¦ you can be anything you dream of. And whatever you choose, I will always be proud of you.β
And from that day on, Emma knew that the world was full of possibilities β and that the most wonderful thing she could ever beβ¦ was herself.
The end.
